RAC 70v2
Part No. EXR-700-002
Aviat, Eclipse, RAC70v2, QPSK-4096 QAM, NO XPIC, ACM
RAC 70V2 supports DPP (Data Packet Plane) and ACM (Adaptive Coding and Modulation) options. RAC 70V2 additionally supports airlink recovered timing (ART) for high accuracy radio transport of a SyncE clock.
Features:
There are ten dynamically switched modulation rates; QPSK, 16 QAM, 32 QAM, 64 QAM, 128 QAM, 256 QAM, 512 QAM, 1024 QAM, 2048 QAM and 4096 QAM, (2048 QAM and 4096 QAM are only available with the ODU 600v2 (5 -23 GHz) or IRU 600v4).
All of modulation states offered with ACM can be selected for static use; modulation switching (state change) is errorless for priority traffic.
A DPP port enables direct routing of Ethernet traffic to a DAC GE3.
Payload encryption is a licensed option (this is the same license as for the RAC 60/6x/60E/6xE).
Individual ACM modulations can be set as fixed rates; these are complemented by fixed-only rates for TDM capacities (DS1).
DS3 and OC3 are not supported by the RAC 70V2.
Channel bandwidths range from 3.75 to 80 MHz ANSI.
Air-link capacities for Ethernet, or for Ethernet+TDM, extend to 715 Mbit/s.
TDM options extend to 127xDS1.
ART operation is designed to meet G.8262 synchronization mask requirements for SyncE clock transport.
RAC 70V2 interfaces to an ODU 600, or to the IRU 600v1 or v2, or to the IRU 600 v3/v4.
RAC 70V2 are compatible over-the-air with RAC 70/7X/70V2/7XV2, but not compatible with older RAC versions like RAC60/6X/30/40/etc.
RAC 70/7X/70V2/7XV2 and RAC60/6X can be mixed within an INU chassis, but it must be for different directions and for different L1LA groups/bundles (ex: can not mix RAC 70/7X/70V2/7XV2 with RAC60/6X in a protected pair of RAC cards in MHSB operation for example, or within a same N+0 L1LA bundle).
